MISSION: "Building Bridges Instead of Walls" - the Auburn Hospitality Association's mission is to help maintain and strengthen the ties between prisoners and their friends and families by making visiting less stressful, and by providing some needed services.

SERVICES: The center is located across the street from the main gate of the Auburn Correctional Facility. It is a place where visitors can feel welcome, safe and comfortable. The facilities of the center are open to all persons who have a friend or relative incarcerated at Auburn, Cayuga, Butler or other area correctional facilities. The center serves as a terminal for vans and buses from the New York City area and a facility van shuttles family reunion visitors to and from the Wall Street Gate. Experienced staff and volunteers are available to help visitors with emergencies and to explain facility regulations.

SUPPORT: NYSDOCS, the ACF Inmate Occupational Therapy Fund, the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester, Poplar Ridge Society of Friends, several Auburn churches and organizations, ACF inmate organization, Veterans, visitors and friends.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: Fundraising, public relations, reading or playing with children.

HOURS: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00am - 4:00pm; Monday, 8:00am - 11:00am; Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00am - 1:00pm.
